PSA
CMS(carbon molecular sieves), applied to nitrogen generator, is porous carbon systematic adsorbent that a number of minute processes are processed equally, and select and adsorb oxygen in short time, and then separate and provide high-purity nitrogen only. Molecular gap of oxygen is smaller than nitrogen, therefore it has feature that diffuses fast into pore of CMS. In adsorption speed, furthermore, oxygen has much higher adsorption rate than nitrogen, and adsorption capacity of oxygen will increase as adsorption pressure increases.
Air compressed in air compressor flow into the lower part of adsorption tower that CMS is filled after the process of removing dustand drying through drying facility including dryer and filter, and then oxygen will be adsorbed and nitrogen will be provided to the upper part of adsorption tower with being separated. While adsorption process is progressing like this, other adsorption tower repeats PSA that can recreate oxygen again by detaching, and may create fixed and continuous nitrogen.
This method is the PSA(pressure swing adsorption) principle.
